Boarding House is a shop for interesting things.

The kind of things you notice. The things you pick up, put back, then pick up again because there’s just something about them.

We started with paper goods and a love of beautiful things, but Boarding House was never meant to fit neatly into one category. Around here, stationery can live beside art, a good book can share space with an unexpected object, and something useful is allowed to have a little personality.

Our shelves are shaped by a simple standard: Beautiful. Curious. Unexpected.

That means paper goods worth leaving on your desk. Art that starts conversations. Books and bookish finds worth passing along. Things for wearing, carrying, sipping, gifting, collecting, and whatever curious thing checks in next.

Some things are designed by Boarding House. Some are made by us. Others are found, selected, or brought in simply because they earned their place.

We aren't interested in filling the house just to make it full.

Because boring things already have plenty of places to live.
